Bamber and includes a brief biography and a list of his published scientific papers. Twenty papers cover taxonomy within the groups Annelida (Polychaeta), Crustacea (Ostracoda, Amphipoda, Cumacea, Tanaidacea, and Decapoda), Chelicerata ( Pycnogonida), Mollusca (Bivalvia) and Echinodermata (Holothuroidea) reflecting Roger’s own interests and his wide circle of friends and collaborators in the field of marine biology. Apart from taxonomic revisions, twenty-nine new taxa are described: two scopelocheirid amphipod genera, one antonbruunid polychaete species, six pycnogonid species (three ammotheids, two callipallenids, and one Pycnogonum), four amphipod species (one lysianassid, one pardaliscid, and two scopelocheirids), one nannastacid cumacean species, eight tanaidacean species (one metapseudid, two pagurapseudids, one cryptocopoidid, one two leptocheliids, one pseudotanaid, and one tanaissuid), three decapod species (one callianideid and two munidopsids), four holothuroid species (two myriotrochids and two taeniogyrinids), and one thyasirid bivalve.
